Just thought I'd take a moment to tell all of you about the sim where this friday's performance will be :)

Taris is a sim I designed, for roleplayers in SL that enjoy roleplay based on the Star Wars universe. It is meant to be a place of exciting quests, adventure, and storytelling. It's special among star wars roleplay sims in that it doesn't permit combat.. this is meant to encourage players to roleplay their stories with depth instead of just fighting (sadly a problem in the community).
Some of the highlights in Taris include:
The Star Wars Quest System (SWQS): an interactive, HUD based system that allows you to take part in a wide variety of quests in the planet (and in other sims too!). The quests involve interacting with static characters (Non-player characters or NPCs) that will tell you their story and ask you for your help. They wil reward you for it too!
Furious Star Wars Avatars: My main business in Second Life.. a huge array of avatars inspired by the universe of star wars.
The Upper City Cantina: This highly detailed cantina is where we celebrate our community together. We have frequent DJed parties and movie nights. This is also where my office is located!
Upper City Apartments: Many large private apartments rented by friends in the community.
The Undercity: Though the Taris Upper City glitters, not all is well in Taris. In the Undercity, the forgotten Underdwellers try to survive with limited resources and difficult conditions. Crime and gangs pervade here. Here you will find the Swoop Racing Gang called "Krank's Dragoons", who encourage players (you) to try your hand in a swoop race!
