On 17th October 1pm SL time The 1st successful Stream Scene Music Awards event was held at Metaverse Island in the Mushroom Tower.
The Music Awards were spectacular. The colour theme was purple , carpet coverage in a cosmic auditorium with a live audience and the event being telecasted live on Metaverse TV and broadcasted all over the web.
The Stream Scene Awards was hosted by Twstd Ruggles and Kim Siefert. The hour was full of fun laughter and the winners of each category was read out and presented a trophy.
SpaceJunky won Second Life most favorite band. There was a lot of the SpaceJunky Alpha Crew cheering on and supporting SpaceJunky, when won the audience went wild.
The energy and ambience lit up the whole of the auditorium.
The Stream Scene Music Awards is a way of saying thank you to the live musicians who take time to entertain round the grid/metaverse as voted by you the viewer, listener.
It is peoples choice who decide on who the winner is for each category.
Networked Musical Performance with a Virtual Environment is a big part of Second Life.
Music is distributed across the globe/metaverse worlds. Several dimensions of shared acoustic space, virtual world backed sonic environment are show cased. A big thank you to everyone who voted on the band as well as the Twstd Ruggles for making this such
a success and making The Stream Scene a bi weekly show featuring some very talented musicians from all over the web.
